An affordable day of photographic training
Following the overwhelming success of our 50 minute urban portrait session at Photocamp back in February, I’ve decided to offer a full day’s training on the subject.
I’ll be joined on the day by the very genial and talented Phil Winterbourne. Phil and I will take you through various aspects of working with models and make-up artists and photographing people in an urban context.
The day’s schedule is currently planned to be:
9:30 – Registration/coffee
10:00 – Welcome/Introductions
10:15 – Kit considerations
10:30 – All you ever wanted to know about sourcing models and make-up artists
11:30 – Shoot session 1
13:00 – Lunch
14:00 – Quick review
14:15 – Shoot session 2
15:45 – Break
16:00 – Post processing/workflow
16:45 – Summary/Close
We’re limiting numbers to a maximum of 16 so that each of you will get both quality time with Phil and I and also plenty of opportunity to get good images. We’ll break into 2 groups of 8 for the shoot sessions and swap over after lunch so you get to work with both of us and the models we’ll be using.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Please advise of any dietary requirements.
We’ve tried to keep costs down so that it can remain affordable whilst providing a great learning environment, top notch catering and good models.
Parking is available in the mutli-storey car park nearby at a discounted rate of £7 for all day upon presentation of a discount voucher available from the hotel. Otherwise the venue is easily accessible from Leeds City Centre.
The price for this event will be £40 and is strictly first come first served.
